Configuration CE with UME in ABAP

Symptom
During CE technical configuration with Configuration Wizard all user management related steps fail (e.g. maintainGroups). The error message is “Error: Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)”.

Reason and Prerequisites
Currently Configuration Wizard for CE does not support UME settings in ABAP.
Solution
Skip the failed steps and do them manually.
This limitation will be eliminated in the next release (SAP NetWeaver 7.20).
