Symptom
You are using Enhanced CTS (CTS+) in a close coupling scenario with transport strategy WBO_GET_REQ_STRATEGY=SMART. The value used as default for the description of transport requests that have just been created is unclear (or it is GENERATED REQUEST and this is unwanted).

Enhanced CTS (CTS+) is used in a close coupling scenario with transport strategy WBO_GET_REQ_STRATEGY=SMART. You want to influence the description used for transport requests that have just been created or you want to know how the default value for this description is determined.
Solution
As of SP3 of Enhancement Package 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (’7.01/SP3′) or SP2 of Enhancement Package 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.1 (’7.11/SP2′) CTS+ allows applications to transfer a default value used for the description of a transport request that has just been created in close coupling scenarios.
The following values are used depending on the application/scenario:

(Values used by SLD: <object type> can be ‘Technical Systems’, ‘Business Systems’, ‘Products’ or ‘Software Components’; <SID> is the system ID).
NOTE: This is a ‘write once’ property, that is whenever a transport request that already exists is used, the description is not overwritten (since it is possible that the request description has been changed manually in the meantime).
Known Limitations:
Some applications only support the transfer of a default description value to CTS+ with versions later than 7.01/SP3 or 7.11/SP2. These are:
