Current applet version for IS-M/AMC Web Editor 3.0
Symptom
The most recent version of the IS-M/AMC Web Editor 3.0 applet is attached to this note.
Solution
To integrate the current version of the IS-M/AMC UI in your system,
proceed as follows:
1) Save the file attached to this note locally
in a folder of your choice.
2) Unpack the “zip” archives into your local directory.
3) Log on to your AMC server system.
4) Call transaction SE80.
5) Display the BSP application ISM_AMC_WEBAPPL.
6) Delete the following objects from the Mimes folder by
selecting the objects and then choosing the entry
“Delete” from the context menu.

7) Import the unpacked files attached to this note
into the Mimes folder by calling the context menu of the folder
and selecting the entry “Import MIME objects”.
Select the files that you unpacked in step 2).
Save your changes.
9) Call transaction SICF to define a user for the BSP application ISM_AMC_WEBAPPL on the IS-M/AMC server.
Alternatively, you can make these jar-files accessible using your SAP J2EE server. That means that the files are placed there along with other web components. This is important if the target platform is subject to restrictions with regard to cross-site scripting. During the editing process, the web editor applet exchanges data with applications that are located on the SAP J2EE Engine. If restrictions with regard to cross-site scripting exist, the applet must also be loaded from this destination. Otherwise, errors may occur when accessing data. This is documented as “IllegalAccessException” in the console of the web editor applet.
