Reason and Prerequisites
You can download the current time zone data to keep the time zone information in your SAP system (in Customizing in particular) up to date.
Solution
The current time zone data is available as a ZIP file under “Attachments”. This ZIP file contains all data and reports for maintaining and analyzing the time zones. Extract this ZIP file to a separate directory. Then, open the file readme.html using an HTML browser. The file contains all further information.
The ZIP file contains the report TZCUSTIM with which you can update time zone Customizing. You can also start this report from one client for other clients. Therefore, it is not absolutely necessary for you to log on directly in the client to be changed when you import time zone settings. You can use this process if you cannot log on in a client due to missing time zone settings.
Note that you cannot restore the previous state after you have executed the report. Customer-specific time zones and daylight saving time rules are not affected by this: They are not overwritten and not deleted.
