Reason and Prerequisites
You want to operate DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows on Windows or Linux with VMWare or XEN.
You want to use SAP in Windows or Linux with VMWare or XEN with DB2 for z/OS.
Solution
You can use DB2 Version 9.1 and DB2 Version 9.5 on Windows and Linux (SUSE and RedHat) with VMWare and XEN; this is supported by SAP and IBM.
If an error specific to VMWare or XEN occurs, IBM Support may require you to reproduce the error situation in a non-virtualized environment
