2. Prerequisites for installing ECC-SE 603
The import conditions of the installation/upgrade package has been changed after the shipment.The change includes removal of import conditions so that no customer is forced to implement ERP EhP’s when installing ECC-SE 603.

For this reason, you must download an attribute change package (ACP) in
addition to the installion package of ECC-SE 603. The new import conditions are shipped with this ACP.
For more information about attribute change packages, see Note 1119856.
To install the add-on with new conditions, proceed as follows:
I. SPAM Version 27 is a prerequisite for the processing of ACPs.
II. Download the file ACP_ECCSE603.SAR that is attached to this note.
III. Load the contents of this file into the EPS inbox
(SPAM > Support Package > Load Packages > From Front End).
The archive contains the ACP, ECC-SE====603, for installation package of ECC-SE 603. Please ensure ACP ECC-SE====603 is available in <DIR_TRANS>/EPS/in directory before starting installation or upgrade.
Uninstalling ECC-SE 603:
Before you install ECC-SE, note that it is not possible to uninstall ABAP add-ons.Required release.
You require SAP ERP Central Component 600 (SAP ECC 600).Import the latest SPAM/SAINT update.
Make sure that you have installed the latest SPAM/SAINT update on your system. If a newer version is available on SAP Service Marketplace, import the new SPAM/SAINT update.Import the latest R3trans and tp.
Ensure that you have imported the latest kernel version into your system. If a newer version is available on SAP Service Marketplace, import the most recent kernel.

Check that your system meets the following prerequisites:
Required notes have to be implemented before installation/upgrade or implement respective support packages instead of these notes
Required Component Support Packages:ECC-SE 603 is based on SAP ECC 6.0 ABAP SP stack 07 and SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) SP stack 13. SAP strongly reccomends to apply these stacks completely, because not included packages might under special circumstances lead to errors.These SPs are mandatory in any case due to known import errors when missing. If you have installed the EHP2 or EHP3 verson of these packages the requirements are met.

Obtain the Add-On ECC-SE 603:

4. Installing or upgrading to ECC-SE 603
Log on as the relevant user.
Log on to your R/3 system in client 000 as a user with SAP_ALL authorization. Do NOT use the SAP* or DDIC users.Display the add-on installation/upgrade package.
Call transaction SAINT and choose “Start” and “Load”.
After the list of uploaded packages is displayed, you can return to the initial screen of transaction SAINT using either F3 or the ‘Back’ button.Start the installation/upgrade.
Call transaction SAINT and choose “Start”. Select the Add-On ECC-SE 603 and choose ‘Continue’. If all of the necessary conditions for importing the add-on have been fulfilled, the system will now display the relevant queue. The queue consists of the installation package, and may also contain Support Packages and Add-On Support Packages.
To start the installation process, choose ‘Continue’. For more information, call transaction SAINT and choose ‘Info’ on the application toolbar.
You are prompted to enter a password. This password is provided below.

6. Language support
In addition to German and English, ECC-SE 603 supports the following languages: ZH,TH,KO,RO,SL,HR,AR,HE,CA,CS,FR,EL,ES,HU,IT,JA,DA,
PL,ZF,NL,NO,PT,SK,RU,TR,FI,SV,BG,SH,UK.
These languages are delivered with the add-on. If the desired languages were already installed on the system before you install the add-on, no further action is required.
If you want to install one of these languages after you install the add-on, proceed as follows:
You must install the required standard language of SAP ECC 600 before you install the add-on language files. Perform the add-on language import in accordance with the guide “SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP 7.0: Language Transport”.
The language packages for ECC-SE 603 are available in the “LANGUAGE” directory on the Installations CD with material number CD51033196.
