Symptom

This note refers to various DIAG protocol enhancements for SAP GUI.

Reason and Prerequisites

Enhancement 1
Transfer of application server version, kernel version and kernel patch level
Enhancement 2
Transfer of the number of loop lines within a logical line
Enhancement 3
Labeling an OK code as a SHORTCUT.
Enhancement 4
The list cell item is larger than 255
Enhancement 5
Window sizes in pixels were added to the connect data for the GUI and we introduced the transfer of the basic screen sizes if there is an active modal dialog box.
Enhancement 6
Transfer of the browser, GuiXT, Jdk and Office version to the application server.

Solution

Enhancement 1 is available with the following kernel patch levels:
46D 2333

Enhancement 2 is available with the following kernel patch levels:
46D 2323

For 64D, an additional kernel patch had to be created since problems occurred during the output of step loops with more than 60 characters:
46D 2433

Enhancement 3 is supported by kernel 701 and 711 and is available with
SAPGUI 710 patch level 8.
