Reason and Prerequisites
You want to perform an add-on delta upgrade within an Enhancement Package update (SAPehpi) or after an Enhancement Package update (SAINT).
Or
You use transaction SAINT to install an add-on.
The technical name of SAP ERP EA-FS-LOCRU 604 is GSEAFS 604
Therefore, the name GSEAFS 604 is used below.

2. Prerequisites for Installation/Delta Upgrade of LOCPTFM 604
o Uninstalling the GSEAFS 604
Before you install the GSEAFS 604 , keep in mind that you cannot uninstall ABAP add-ons. Further restrictions that concern the upgrade and maintenance of your SAP System and that are caused by the installation of an add-on are described in Release Strategy Note 989621.
o Required release.
SAP ERP Central Component 6.0 EHP4(referred to below as ERP 6.0, EHP4) is a prerequisite.
o Import the latest SPAM/SAINT update.
Make sure that you have installed the latest SPAM/SAINT update in your system. If a newer version is available on SAP Service Marketplace import the new SPAM/SAINT update.
o Import the latest R3trans and tp:
Make sure that you have imported the latest kernel version into your system. If a newer version is available on SAP Service Marketplace, import the latest kernel.

o Prerequisites.
Attention: The Add-on can be installed on a plain ERP 6.0 EHP4 system and the upgrade from GSEAFS 100 with ERP 6.0 to EHP4 is also supported!
Check whether you have fulfilled the following prerequisites in your system:

these Component Support Packages listed above must be available in the system. If you have not yet installed these Component Support Packages, you can include these in the installation of GSEAFS 604. See Note 83458 for this.
o SAP Enterprise Extensions activation switch.
The GSEAFS 604 add-on requires the Enterprise Extension(s):
EA-FS
EA-FIN
If you have not yet activated them, you must do so now. For more information, see Note 1049251.

o Additional Component Support Packages.
The add-on GSEAFS 604 does not contain modifications. You can also perform the installation if you have already imported more Support Packages into your system than are specified in the section ‘Required Component Support Packages’.

3. Preparing the GSEAFS 604 Installation/Delta Upgrade
o Making the add-on GSEAFS 604 available
The installation CD for GSEAFS 604 is not automatically sent to all customers. If you want to perform the installation, request the CD with material number 51037087 from the relevant subsidiary or download the add-on from the SAP Service Marketplace.
o Download GSEAFS 604 from SAP Service Marketplace into your local EPS Inbox. You find the installation GSEAFS under:

- Log on as user
<sid>adm for UNIX

- Switch to the <DIR_EPS_ROOT> directory of your SAP system (usually /usr/sap/trans/EPS). The <DIR_EPS_ROOT> directory is also displayed under DIR_EPS_ROOT after you execute the RSPFPAR report.
- Go to the higher-level directory of <DIR_EPS_ROOT>.
- Unpack the SAR archive K-604AGINGSEAFS.SAR on the CD with the following statement:
SAPCAR -xvf /<CD_DIR>/INST/DATA/K-604AGINGSEAFS.SAR for UNIX
SAPCAR -xvf /QOPT/<VOLID>/INST/DATA/K-604AGINGSEAFS.SAR for AS/400
SAPCAR -xvf <CD_DRIVE>:\INST\DATA\K-604AGINGSEAFS.SAR for WindowsNT
- The file with the name CSR0120031469_0037407.PAT should now be in the <DIR_EPS_ROOT>/in directory.

4. Release of GSEAFS 604 with Enhancement Packages
o For information about compatibility with Enhancement Packages, refer to release strategy note 1102512.

5. Executing the GSEAFS 604 Installation/Delta Upgrade
a.) SAINT for installation/Delta Upgrade of GSEAFS 604
o User to be used:
Log on to your SAP system in the client 000 as user with SAP_ALL profile. Do NOT use the user SAP* or DDIC.
o Display the add-on installation package.
Call transaction SAINT and select the ‘Start’ and ‘Load’ button.After the list of uploaded packages is displayed, use F3 or the ‘Back’ button to return to the initial screen of transaction SAINT.
o Starting the installation:
Call transaction SAINT and choose ‘Start’. Select the add-on GSEAFS,604 and choose ‘Continue’. If all of the necessary conditions for importing the add-on have been fulfilled, the system will now display the relevant queue. The queue consists of the installation package, and it may also contain Support Packages and Add-On Support Packages. To start the installation process, choose ‘Continue’. For more information, call transaction SAINT and choose ‘Info’ on the application toolbar.When you are installing GSEAFS 604, you are asked for a password. The password is provided below in section 8.

b) SAPehpi for delta upgrade to GSEAFS 604
If you have already installed the required Enhancement Package and you are planning a pure installation with SAINT( explained above), ignore this section , and continue reading under point 6.
The general procedure for Enhancement Packages is described in the Enhancement Package Installation Guide.
Make sure that you use latest SAPehpi Version.
Add-on delta upgrade.
- In the phase IS_SELECT, you will be asked for a decision about dealing with the add-on GSEAFS.
- Here, select: “Upgrade with SAINT package”.
- In the phase ADDONKEY_CHK, the system prompts you to enter a KEY for GSEAFS 604. The key is: 3690686
The ACP for SAP_APPL 603 attached to this note needs to be uploaded , else you will face an error in the EHP_INCLUSION phase and the log file, SPDA_EHP_INCLUSION.LOG, would have the following information:
The following import prerequisites of OCS Package “SAPK-603DHINSAPAPPL” have not been met
And
Not allowed software component “GSEAFS” rel.”100″ is installed.
To upload the ACP add-on with new conditions, proceed as follows:
I. For more information about attribute change packages(ACP) , see Note 1119856.
II. Download the file ACP_SAP_APPL-603.SAR that is attached to this note.
III. Load the contents of this file into the EPS inbox (SPAM > Support Package > Load Packages > From Front End). The archive contains the ACP, SAP_APPL==603. Then ensure that the PAT file CSR0120031469_0037432.PAT should now be in the <DIR_TRANS>/EPS/in directory.

Delivery Customizing:
Delivery Customizing is imported into client 000 and may need to be copied to other clients. For more information, see Note 337623.
The latest document related to GSEAFS 604 is present in SMP. The document for GSEAFS 100 is also relevant for GSEAFS 604.

7. Language support
GSEAFS 604 supports Russian and English.All the language-dependent parts of GSEAFS are contained in the installation package of the add-on. If the relevant standard language exists in the system when you import GSEAFS, the language part of the add-on is automatically imported. You do not need to import a language transport separately.If you import a new standard language into your system after installing the GSEAFS, you must manually ensure that the corresponding language-dependent part of the add-on is imported. See Note 195442 for further information.
