HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS, COLOR PALETTE, PERFORMANCE
Note for the Windows standalone installation:
To generate images using the IGS your server needs a color setting of at least 32768 colors. That means you have to enable a color depth of at least 2 bytes. But feel free to use true color mode instead.
Amount of Portwatchers:
At least two, maximum twice the number of CPUs.
Perfomance example: Generating a graphic on a Pentium 800 MHz
Time for generating graphics:
Maps: roughly 600 msBusiness graphics: roughly 300 msYou should double the times for a “slower” Pentium with 400 MHz.
Memory requirements (Windows)
