1. General information about components for SAP EWM 7.0

SAP EWM 7.0 consists of the following components.
- ABAP Add-On SCMEWM 700
- ABAP Add-On QIE 200
- ABAP Add-On SCM_BASIS 700
- ABAP Add-On SCMBPLUS 700
- ABAP add-on SAP_BS_FND 701
- XI content
The packages for installing the software components are on the CD that has material number 51033853.
This note describes how to install the
component SCMEWM.

2. Prerequisites for the SCMEWM 700 installation
Uninstalling SCMEWM.
Before you install SCMEWM, note that it is not possible to uninstall ABAP add-ons. Further restrictions concerning the upgrade and maintenance of your SAP System that are caused by installing an add-on are described in the release strategy note.Required ABAP Server release and ABAP add-on components:ABAP Server SAP ERP 6.0 Enhancement Package 4 (SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 4)Add-On QIE with Release 200Add-On SCM_BASIS Release 700Add-on SAP_BS_FND 701Caution:
The installation of SCMEWM is released for SAP ERP 6.0 EHP4 only.
SCMEWM is not released for installation on: SAP Netweaver, SAP SCM, SAP CRM, SAP SRM.Upgrade: SCMEWM 510/SAP ERP 6.0 is prerequisite. You must include the SCMEWM 700 package directly in the SAP ERP 6.0 Enhancement Package 4 upgrade.The installation packages for the add-on components QIE and SCM_BASIS are available from the SCMSCMEWM delivery medium (see below).Import the latest SPAM/SAINT update.
Ensure that you have imported the latest SPAM/SAINT update into your system. If a newer version is available on SAP Service Marketplace, import the new SPAM/SAINT update.Import the latest R3trans and tp.

To use SCMEWM 700, you require at least SCMEWM 700 Support Package 01.

Make Add-On SCMEWM 700 available
The installation CD for SCMEWM 700 is not sent to all customers automatically. Request the CD with material number 51033853 from your local subsidiary or download the CD from SAP Service Marketplace.CD 51033853 contains the SCMEWM 700 installation package and an SAR archive, which contains the installation files for QIE 200, SCM_BASIS 700 and SAP_BS_FND 701:

After you unpack the archive in the directory , the following files will be in the directory /in:

If you have already installed the required Enhancement Package and you are planning an add-on installation or an add-on upgrade with SAINT, ignore this section and continue reading under point b)..The general procedure for Enhancement Packages is described in the Enhancement Package Installation Guide.Make sure that you use at least SAPehpi Version 710-2.In the phase IS_SELECT, the add-on components SCMEWM and SCM_BASIS are flagged for a decision and preassigned with the status “UNDECIDED”. For these add-on components, select the following upgrade decision:
“Upgrade with SAINT package”In the phase ADDONKEY_CHK, you are prompted to enter a password for SCMEWM 700. The password is: 4046971.
b.) Delta upgrade after SCMEMW 700 or an SCMEMW 700 installation with SAINT
Starting the installation
Call transaction SAINT and choose “Start”. Select the SCMEWM 700 Add-On and choose ‘Continue’. If all of the necessary conditions for importing the add-on have been fulfilled, the system will now display the relevant queue. The queue consists of the installation package, and it may also contain Support Packages and Add-On Support Packages.
To start the installation process, choose “Continue”. For more information, call transaction SAINT and choose “Info” on the application toolbar.

Importing Support Packages after the installationTo use SCMEWM 700, you require at least SCMEWM Support Package 01. Import SCMEWM 700 Support Package 01 if you did not import it when you installed SCMEWM.Information about the Support Package stack of SCM 7.0 is available here: http://service.sap.com/sp-stacks
Delivery Customizing:Delivery Customizing is imported into client 000 and may have to be copied to other clients. For more information, see Note 337623.
6. Language support
In addition to German and English, SCMEWM 700 supports the following languages: CS, DA, ES, FI, FR, IT, JA, KO, NL, NO, PL, PT, RU, SV, ZHThese languages are contained in the SCMEWM 700 installation package. The languages are imported automatically during the installation in accordance with the standard languages installed in your SAP release. You do not need to import a language transport separately.For a subsequent language installation, proceed as described in Note 195442.Perform the add-on language import in accordance with the guide “SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP 7.0: Language Transport”.
