2. Prerequisites for Installation/Delta Upgrade the KJEPS 604
It is not possible to uninstall KJEPS.
Before you install the KJEPS, keep in mind that you cannot uninstall ABAP add-ons. Further restrictions that concern the upgrade and maintenance of your SAP system and that occur as a result of installing an add-on are described in Release Strategy Note 655901.
Required release
You require SAP ERP Central Component 600(ECC 6.0) with Enhancement Package 4.
Import the latest SPAM/SAINT update.
Make sure that you have installed the latest SPAM/SAINT update on your system. If a newer version is available on SAP Service Marketplace, import the new SPAM/SAINT update.
Import the latest R3trans and tp.
Ensure that you have imported the latest kernel version into your system. If a newer version is available on SAP Service Marketplace, import the most recent kernel.

If you have not yet installed these component Support Packages, you can include them when you install the KJEPS 604. For more information, see Note 83458.
Additional Component Support Packages
The add-on KJEPS 604 modifies the component SAP_APPL If you have already imported more Support Packages for this component into your SAP system than are specified in this note in the section ‘Required Components and Support Packages’, you must check whether Conflict Resolution Transports (CRTs) of the add-on KJEPS 604 are available. For more information, see Note 1340567. The CRTs are available on the SAP Service Marketplace. If a CRT you require is not yet available, you cannot perform the installation at present. For more information about CRTs, see Note 53902.

3. Preparing the KJEPS 604 Installation/Delta Upgrade
Making the add-on KJEPS 604 available
The installation CD for KJEPS 604 is not automatically sent to all customers. Request the CD with material number 51037233 from your local subsidiary or download the CD from SAP Service Marketplace:

Log on as user:
<sid>adm on UNIX
<SID>OFR on IBM i (previously i5/OS or OS/400)
<SID>adm on Microsoft Windows
Switch to the <DIR_EPS_ROOT> directory of your SAP system (usually /usr/sap/trans/EPS). The <DIR_EPS_ROOT> directory is also displayed under DIR_EPS_ROOT after you execute the RSPFPAR report.
Go to the higher-level directory of <DIR_EPS_ROOT>.
Unpack the SAR archive <SAR_Archive> on the CD with the following statement:
UNIX:
SAPCAR -xvf /<CD_DIR>/INST/DATA/K-604AGINKJEPS.SAR
IBM i (previously i5/OS or OS/400):
SAPCAR ‘-xvf /QOPT/<VOLID>/INST/DATA/K-604AGINKJEPS.SAR’
Microsoft Windows:
SAPCAR -xvf <CD_DRIVE>:\INST\DATA\K-604AGINKJEPS.SAR
The CSR0120031469_0037430.PAT file should now be in the <DIR_EPS_ROOT>/in directory.
4. Release of KJEPS 604 with Enhancement Packages
o For information about compatibility with Enhancement Packages, refer to release strategy note 655901.

5. Executing the KJEPS 604 Installation/Delta Upgrade
a.) SAINT for Installation/Delta Upgrade of KJEPS 604
User to be used
Log on to your SAP system in client 000 as a user with SAP_ALL authorization. Do NOT use the SAP* or DDIC users.
Displaying the add-on installation package
Call transaction SAINT and choose ‘Start’ and ‘Load’.
After the list of uploaded packages is displayed, you can return to the initial screen of transaction SAINT by choosing F3 or ‘Back’.
Starting the installation
Call transaction SAINT and choose ‘Start’. Select the add-on KJEPS 604 and choose ‘Continue’. If all of the necessary conditions for importing the add-on have been fulfilled, the system will now display the relevant queue. The queue consists of the installation package, and it may also contain Support Packages and Add-On Support Packages.
To start the installation process, choose ‘Continue’. For more information, call transaction SAINT and choose ‘Info’ on the application toolbar.
The system prompts you to enter a password. Please refer section 9 for the password.
b.) SAPehpi for delta upgrade for KJEPS 604
If you have already installed the required Enhancement Package and you are planning a pure delta upgrade with SAINT, ignore this section and continue reading under point a).
The general procedure for Enhancement Packages is described in the Enhancement Package Installation Guide.
Make sure that you use at least SAPehpi Version.
Add-on delta upgrade.
In the phase IS_SELECT, you will be asked for a decision about dealing with the add-on KJEPS.
Here, select: “Upgrade with SAINT package”.
In the phase ADDONKEY_CHK, the system prompts you to enter a password for KJEPS 604. The password is: 2397758.

6. After Installation/Delta Upgrade of KJEPS 604
Importing Support Packages after the installation
The add-on KJEPS 604 modifies the component SAP_APPL After the installation, you can import more Support Packages for this component. However, you must first check that CRT (Conflict Resolution Transports) are already available for the add-on KJEPS 604. For more information, see Note 1340567. The CRTs are available on the SAP Service Marketplace. For more information about CRTs, see Note 53902.
You can import Support Packages of the other components that KJEPS 604 does not modify without CRTs.

Delivery Customizing
Delivery Customizing is imported into client 000 and may need to be copied to other clients. For more information, see Note 337623.
7. Language support
In addition to English, the following languages are supported by KJEPS 604: Japanese
All the language-dependent parts of KJEPS are contained in the installation package of the add-on. If the relevant standard language exists in the system when you import KJEPS, the language part of the add-on is automatically imported. You do not need to import a language transport separately.
If you import a new standard language into your system after installing the KJEPS, you must manually ensure that the corresponding language-dependent part of the add-on is imported. See Note 195442 for further information.
