Note: When you install Add-On RMGMT 1.00, the system supports an upgrade to SAP R/3 Enterprise only when RMGMT 2.10 is made available.
SAP PLM Recipe Management 2.1 has been available as an add-on (Add-On-ID RMGMT 210) since April 2003 for those who are part of the ramp up.

2.Prerequisites for installing RMGMT 1.00Import the latest SPAM/SAINT update
Make sure that you have imported the latest SPAM/SAINT update into your system. To do this, compare the short text of the last SPAM/SAINT update (SAPKD000*) that you imported with the short text of the SAPM/SAINT update in SAPNet R/3 Frontend or SAPNet Web Frontend. If there is a more recent version in SAPNet R/3 Frontend or SAPNet Web Frontend, import the most recent SPAM/SAINT update.Add-On EH&S 2.7B
Note that you must import Add-On EH&S 2.7B/4. 6C, Support Package 01(CD material number 51014674) first before you can install RMGMT 1.00.

3.Preparing to install RMGMT 1.00
Get the add-on installation CD and install it.Log on as the following user:
admfor UNIX,OFRfor AS/400,admfor Windows NT

Switch to the transport directory of your R/3 system. You can also display the transport directory under DIR_TRANS in transaction AL11.Unpack the CAR archive with the following statement:
CAR -xvf //DATA/.CARfor UNIXCAR ‘-xvf /QOPT//DATA/.CAR’for AS/400CAR -xvf :\DATA\.CARfor Windows NT

4.Installing RMGMT 1.00Log on to your R/3 system with client 000 as a user with SAP_ALL rights. Donotuse the users SAP* or DDIC.Make the add-on installations or upgrade packages visible:
Call transaction SAINT and choose ‘Load’. After the system displays the list of the uploaded packages, you can choose’ F3′ or ‘Back’ to return to the initial screen of transaction SAINT.Start the installation or the upgrade:
Call transaction SAINT and select Add-On RMGMT 1.00 and choose ‘Continue’. If all of the required conditions for importing the add-on have been met, the system now displays the corresponding queue. The queue consists of the installation package and may also contain Support and Add-On Packages. Choose ‘Continue’ to start the installation process. For more information, call transaction SAINT and choose the corresponding button in the application toolbar. Note the documentation in the DOCU directory of the installation CD also.

5.Post-installation procedures for RMGMT 1.00Check/change the table T000 for your selected client:
Logical system: Define a logical system
Standard currency: EUR or USD (euro or US dollar)Check the settings for the matrix operations (calculation of the composition in the formula; reporting in the formula information system):
Environment parameters in Product Safety: ‘EXPERT_DEFAULT_DESTINATION’ and its assignment
Destination of the EASYEXPERT server using transaction SM59 -> TCP/IP connectionsInstalling the EH&S Easy Expert:
