Solution
Oracle features in the SAP standard system
As of Oracle Release 9.2, the following features are part of the SAP standard for new SAP installations with Oracle:
Server Parameter File (SPFILE):Automatic Undo Management/AUMDefault Temporary TablespaceDynamic SGAAutomatic PGALocally-managed Temporary Tablespace
(as of SAP WebAS 6.xx or SAP NetWeaver 2004)
These Oracle features (see Note 598678) should all be active.
Locally managed tablespaces/ASSM tablespaces
LMTS tablespaces and ASSM tablespaces (see Notes 620803, 214995) are also part of the standard for SAP installations as of Oracle Release 9.2.
When you extend a database with new tablespaces or if you restructure a database, we recommend to create the new tablespaces as LMTS and ASSM tablespaces.
