Providing Windows Cluster Configuration Details
Symptom
The SAP support team asks you for the configuration details on your Microsoft Failover Cluster Server.
Reason and Prerequisites
During a problem analysis the SAP support needs details about the configuration of your Microsoft Failover Cluster.
Solution
1. Download the attached clusconfig.zip file.2. Log on as <SAPSID>adm user on one of your cluster nodes.3. Extract the content of the clusconfig.zip file to a local temporary directory.4. Open a command box (cmd.exe) (on Windows Server 2008 – as Administrator) and change your working directory to the local temporary directory.5. Type the following command in the command box:
cscript.exe //nologo clusconfig.vbs > <mycluster_name>_config.txt6. Put the <mycluster_name>_config.txt into a zip archive and attach it to your customer message.
