You want to generate RFC traces. This note is based on Note 176277. To solve this problem, refer to Note 66168.
Solution
Depending on which communication partner calls RFC and which behavior must be analyzed, there are different options for generating the RFC traces.
1. Communication from an external program to ABAP
The external program is the RFC client; ABAP is the RFC server. For more information about the generation of RFC traces, see Note 877979.2. Communication from ABAP to an external program

Remark: If the external RFC program is the SAP TP program, activate the trace for the TP program in accordance with Note 777565.3. Communication from ABAP to ABAP
