I Installation/Prerequisites
This note is in no way intended to replace the Installation Guide. We assume that you will read the latest Installation Guide and see all notes referred to in this guide. You can find the latest guide in the SAP Service Marketplace under the quicklink INSTGUIDES (http://service.sap.com/instguides). The MI 2.5 SP21 client is available on the SAP Service Marketplace under the quick link PATCHES (http://service.sap.com/patches).Please read and follow Note 851186. This Note contains information about the implementation of WAS 6.40 Support Packages. It mentions about operations which are mandatory in the event of applying Service Packages to your WAS installation.The Patch file MI25SP21.zip contains the Patches for both Frameworks (AWT and JSP)Please uncompress the patch file and upload the JSP Patch and AWT Patch as seperate Addon`s to the Webconsole.Pre-requisites for NWMADMIN:
NWMADMIN software component has a dependency on SDMCLIENT.sda which is a part of SAPDEVINF software component, in usage Java
development infrastructure.
Please extract this SDMCLIENT.sda and deploy it on your WebAS java to use NWMADMIN.

II Problems during the installation
During the deployment of NWMADMIN, warning messages would be displayed which is attached as a part of this note. To resolve this, please follow the steps mentioned as a part of ‘Pre-requisites for NWMADMIN’ present in the section ‘Installation/Prerequisites’.
III Editing/problems after the installation
Please regenerate all SyncBo`s after applying SP21.Run report ZMEREP_FILL_KEYMAP_TAB.txt, which is attached to Note 954512, if it was not run as a part of SP17 upgradation. (i.e. If you are upgrading to SP21 from any SPs lower than or equal to SP16).Disable all SyncBOs (using tcode MEREP_PD).Regenerate all SyncBOs (using tcode MEREP_SBUILDER).Enable all SyncBOs. For T01 SyncBOs you need to perform replication to enable the them.
IV Delta Features
o No Delta Feature delivered as a part of this SP(MI2.5 SP21).
SAP NetWeaver 2004 SP Stack 21 also contains the new features for device management, device setup, monitoring and data synchronization.
These features have been evaluated in the “MI 2.5 SP15+ Pilot Program”. This pilot program is finished and the features are generally available for every customer. Please apply SP20 to your landscape and check SAP Note 896822 and 954005 for further details.
