Reason and Prerequisites
As of kernel 7.10, the installation procedure of saposcol has changed.
In previous kernel releases, the sapntchk executable was part of the saposcol package. As of kernel 7.10, this is no longer the case.
The sapntchk executable was needed to gather the required hardware information within transaction ST06.
The functionality that sapntchk provided, is now available in saposcol.
Solution
Update saposcol by downloading the latest version of saposcol.exe. It is located in SAPHOSTAGENT.SAR.
