Symptom
You want to use an SAP shortcut to logon to an SAP system in the language which is set as the default language in the user parameters (in SU01 -> Defaults -> Logon Language). In 710 GUI:
language from the parameter zcsa/system_language overwrites the one defined in SU01 if both are different.Other terms

SAP shortcut, SAPShortcut, default language, user parameters, SU01

Reason and Prerequisites

Up to now the language EN was used if no language was specified in the SAPShortcut file *.sap or an SAPShortcut command and therefore you are automatically logged on in English.
In order to be able to logon in the language defined as default logon language in the user parameters (SU01), or in the default system language if there is no logon language defined in the user parameters, the SAPShortcut program was extended(see below about the solution).
Using this solution, you don’t need to specify the language in the SAPShortcut(if a language has been already selected, just choose (Default) in the field “Language”).
However be aware that the existing SAP GUI sessions can not be reused without the language information.
Either you specify the language in the SAPShortcut to enable the reuse of existing SAP GUI sessions or you use this solution to logon in the default user language or default system language without specifying the language in the SAPShortcut.
