You plan to deploy an Oracle 10g Single Instance (non RAC) database in an HP-UX Integrity Virtual Machine (Integrity VM) Guest with SAP Products.
This note decribes Oracle’s official support policy for HP-UX Integrity Virtual Machine in SAP environments.

Reason and Prerequisites
Oracle certifies an Oracle 10g Single Instance (non RAC) database within the following prerequisites:
HP Integrity Virtual Machine (HPVM) is available only for the HP-UX Itanium Platform.HP Integrity Virtual Machine 3.50 – Host OS: HP-UX 11.23HP Integrity Virtual Machine 4.10 – Host OS: HP-UX 11.31Minimum Oracle 10g Release 2 (10.2.0.x)

Currently the following restrictions apply to HP Integrity VM:
Single Instance Database only, non RACOnline Migration of HP Integrity Virtual Machine for production databases is not supportedSolution
