This note is only valid for the HR-PS R/3 Add-On. Do not import the patches mentioned below if this add-on has not been installed in your system. (If the add-on has been installed, the AVERS table contains an entry for the HR-PS add-on ID.)

Solution
1. General information
As of Release 4.0B, corrections for the HR-PS R/3 add-on are available online on the SAP Service Marketplace (http://service.sap.com) in accordance with the Support Packages or HR Support Packages for the SAP Core components. The HR-PS patches are imported in exactly the same way as these Support Packages, that is, using the SPAM Patch Manager. The HR-PS patches correct errors in HR-PS programs or make legal adjustments. The HR-PS patches also remove HR-PS conflicts with Support Packages. The HR-PS patches therefore replace the Conflict Resolution Transports (CRTs, see Note 53902).
Each HR-PS patch requires a particular Support Package.
You cannot import an HR-PS patch without this required Support Package.
2. Loading and importing patches
You can download all Support Packages from the Software Distribution Center (http://www.service.sap.com/patches):

-> HR-PS 462A
At present, HR-PS patches are, technically speaking, CRTs for Support Packages.
Therefore, downloading them from the SAP Service Marketplace and importing them works in exactly the same way as described for CRTs in Note 53902.
3. Sequence
As with Support Packages, you must strictly adhere to the sequence of the HR-PS patches, which means that you can only import Support Package 03 after you have imported Support Package 02, and so on.
4. Problems while importing Support Packages
a) Problems importing SAPKISM801
The method execution log contains the message: “GB308 user exit UFP?? is not declared in formpool RGGBS000″, you are requested to carry out postprocessing. Since this message only concerns customers in the French public service, all other customers can ignore it. The problem will be solved when the next CRT is imported.
You must solve this problem yourself if the following conditions apply to your system:
1. You are using the SAP human resources solution HR-PS 462A.
2. You are using the “Avancement de grade” module.
3. Before you import the next CRT, you intend to use this module in client 000 or to copy the customizing of client 000 to another client.
Solution:
Assign the RPFVREF0PBS and RPFVSEF0PBS form pools to the GBLR and GBLS application areas in the following activity: IMG –> Suppl閙ent Service Public France –> Classement, traitement de base et avancement –> Avancement de grade –> Modes d’acc鑣 et conditions d’admissibilit?–> Saisir des exits utilisateur

Importing Support Package 0008 – SAPKISM808.
If you are importing patch 0008 check the name of the PAT file to determine the version:
CSN0120061532_0011409.PAT – Version1 (has errors)
CSN0120061532_0011426.PAT – Version2 (is error-free)
If you have imported Version1, you must also import correction Support Package HI7K000506.
Support Package HI7K000506 is available on the SapservX under
/general/R3server/abap/note.0385685/HI7K000506.CAR
Procedure for importing the HI7K000506 correction patch:
Copy HI7K000506.CAR into your DIR_TRANS directory, and unpack it using the following command:
CAR -xvf HI7K000506.CAR
Check whether the R000506.HI7 file is in the DIR_TRANS/data directory and whether the K000506.HI7 file is in the DIR_TRANS/cofiles directory.
Now switch to the DIR_TRANS/bin directory and execute the following commands (replace <SID> with your SAP system name):
tp addtobuffer HI7K000506 <SID>
tp import HI7K000506 <SID> client000

There is no need to import the correction patch with Version 2.
Patch 0009 – SAPKISM809 will also include Support Package HI7K000506.
NOTE:
Importing Support Package 0079 – SAPKISM879
Kernel Release 46D, Kernel Patchlevel 2265 is required.
