This note outlines system requirements for liveCache and MaxDB
liveCache/MaxDB versions: 7.5, 7.6, 7.7
Solution

Due to the fact that, in the past, errors often occurred in a liveCache and MaxDB environment under HP-UX owing to missing or obsolete operating system components, this note outlines the minimum requirements for the individual liveCache/MaxDB versions.
They correspond to the status of the ‘make’ environments used for liveCache/MaxDB and are therefore important for tests in SAP.
The following commands are used to determine the settings on a computer:
o OS name, version, patch level: uname -a
o C runtime: /usr/sbin/swlist -l product | grep -i runtime
what /usr/lib/pa20_64/libc.sl
o C++ runtime: /usr/sbin/swlist -l product | grep -i runtime
what /usr/lib/pa20_64/libCsup.sl
o PHKL_26834: /usr/sbin/swlist -l product | grep lwp_stime
o PHKL_35564: /usr/sbin/swlist -l product | grep mmap
Use the following list to check whether your installation meets the minimum requirements. If it does not, adjust the system environment accordingly.
