Symptom
When you implement or update a scenario, you must update the Component Repository Content (CR Content) in the System Landscape Directory (SLD).

Reason and Prerequisites
The Component Repository (CR Content) is an integral part of the System Landscape Directory. It is the part of the data that is delivered by SAP. We recommend that you always use the latest version of the CR Content.
The Repository is provided on SAP Service Marketplace under “SAP Support Packages & Patches”. The following items are available here:
1. The current CIM data model as the file cimsap….zip2. A current CR Content update as the file CRDelta….zip
The CR Content is independent from the SLD release. Therefore, you must always import the latest CR Content into each SLD. The Support Package numbering does not contain any connection to Support Packages of other components or products. The CR Content is delivered for all releases.
A user must have administration authorization to import the update into the System Landscape Directory. You must have SLD Version 6.40 at least. If you use cluster operation with SLD Version 6.40, also refer to Note 825116.
Solution
1. Determine the versions of the data model and CR Content that are available in your SLD.
“Administration” -> “Details” -> “Data” contains the current CIM model version and the version of the CR Content (for example, 1.5.32 as the model version and SAP_CR 3.10 as the Content Version).
If no CR Content version is available, you must first initially fill the SLD. When you install the system, this provides an initial content. The SLD user manual contains instructions about configuring the SLD. This manual is located under http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/nw-sld.
2. Go to SAP Service Marketplace (SMP) and download the required updates.
In the area “Downloads” in http://service. sap.com/patches, search for SAP CR CONTENT or navigate to this using the tree structure on the left.

SAP CR CONTENT
You must first download the current CIM model. This is located under SAP CR CONTENT UP TO 2009 and has the file name cimsap….zip. If there are several of these files, use the latest one. Caution: If a model version is under 1.4.31, you must first follow the instructions in Note 907897.
Depending on the initial version of your CR Content, you may have to import several CRDelta upgrades. The following list contains the required updates.
From 1. x to 2.0:
SMP entry point: SAP MASTER DATA FOR SLD 1.0
End of maintenance reached; no longer available.
From 2.x to 3.0
SMP entry point: SAP MASTER DATA FOR SLD 2.0
File name: CRDelta1418_0-10003379.ZIP
Remark: see below, switch from 2.0 to 3.0
From 3.x to 4.0
SMP entry point: SAP CR CONTENT UP TO 2007
File name: CRDelta1511_0-10004549.ZIP
From 4.x to 5.0
SMP entry point: SAP CR CONTENT UP TO 2008
File name: CRDelta41514_0-10006428.ZIP
from 5.x to 5.y (latest version)
SMP entry point: SAP CR CONTENT UP TO 2009
File name: CRDelta515*.ZIP
Remark: use the latest file.
Example: You are using the current CR Content 3.7. Download the latest data model cimsap….zip and the following files:
CRDelta1511_0-10004549.ZIP,
CRDelta41514_0-10006428.ZIP, as well as the latest file
CRDelta515*.ZIP.
3. Import the updates
You have now downloaded the required archives. The system does not unpack the archives but imports them as a ZIP file. For some archives, you must note particular rules that are described at the end of this note. Before the import, check whether you must consider further details in your case.
Use Administration -> Import to first import the model update cimsap….zip. You cannot ignore any warning that may occur telling you that a newer model has already been loaded. You must therefore not choose “Import Anyway”, but you must choose “Cancel Import” as you must not import an old model on top of a newer model. You can import the same model version and this does not lead to any warning. For further details, refer to Note 1045423.
You must then import the Content-Update CRDelta….zip file(s). The update contains all of the changes as of the initial status (= aggregate of all updates). The program only imports those changes that are not already present in your Component Repository – it ignores all changes that you have already imported. When you repeat the import of a delta that has already been successfully imported, the import is not carried out, which is correct. You must also not ignore any warnings here, but you must choose “Cancel Import”. The warning is usually caused by an error when selecting the entry point on SAP Service Marketplace. Repeat the solution steps 1 and 2.4. In SLD under “Administration” -> “Details” -> “Data”, check the version of the content that you have imported.

Special features of individual packages
The delta CRDelta1510_0… contains the deletion of all scenario data and solution data that is no longer required. For this reason, the import of the delta takes between 15 and 30 minutes. The delta CRDelta1510_0… also requires the model 1.5.32. You must therefore first import the file cimsap1510_0…

Upgrade from Version 2.0 to Version 3.0
To upgrade from SAP MASTER DATA FOR SLD 2.0 to SAP CR CONTENT UP TO 2007 (technical version is 3.0), you are required to perform the following steps:
1. Import the last delta from 2.0. This comprises model 1.5.20 (cimsap1418_…zip) and the content delta (CRDelta1418_…zip). Before you import the new model, check the parameter RejectUnsupportedCIMQualifiers and the existing model version. Proceed according to Note 907897.
In 6.40 and 7. 0 Support Package 0 – Support Package 9, the import of the model (file cimsap….zip) takes 30-60 minutes. As of Release 7.0 Support Package 10, the import requires less than 1 minute.2. In the future, obtain further updates from SAP CR CONTENT UP TO 2007 (3.0).
