The following initial configurations are supported for the upgrade to SAP SCM 7.0 with RCTRK 700:
SAP SCM 4.1 with OSEM 410 (requires RCXEM 410)
SAP SCM 5.0 with OSEM 500 (requires RCXEM 500)
SAP SCM 5.0 with RCTRK 501
SAP SCM 5.1 with RCTRK 502

Delivery of RCTRK 700
The upgrade CD for RCTRK 700 is not automatically sent to all customers. If you want to carry out the upgrade, request the CD with the material number 51037377 from your local subsidiary or download the CD from SAP Service Marketplace via

Required SAP releases and Add-on releases:
SAP SCM 4.1 with OSEM 410 (requires RCXEM 410)
or
SAP SCM 5.0 with OSEM 500 (requires RCXEM 500)
or
SAP SCM 5.1 with RCTRK 502
Add-on supplement
When you upgrade an SAP system to SAP SCM 7.0, the system recognizes that an ABAP Add-on is installed and requests an additional CD or an upgrade package for the Add-on. As a result, the ABAP Add-on is also upgraded to the corresponding release during the standard upgrade.
CAUTION
If you upgrade an SAP system with components OSEM/RCXEM installed without importing the data contained in the upgrade CD with the material number 51037377(upgrade phase IS_SELECT), the OSEM/RCXEM Add-on functionality no longer works after the upgrade. The status of the system is inconsistent. Hence, SAP can no longer accept any liability.

R3trans, tp, kernel, SPAM
In the initial release of your system, use the latest R3trans, tp and kernel patch, and import the most recent SPAM update.
Required PI_BASIS release
In the upgrade to SAP SCM 700 with RCTRK 700, you must include a suitable PI_BASIS release in the upgrade (at least PI_BASIS 701).
The overview note for the PI_BASIS component (Note 555060) provides details of the notes to be used in this case.
Component support packages to be included in the upgrade:
In addition to the support packages contained in SAP SCM 7.0, you require at least the support packages of the following components for the upgrade:
Support Package 01 for SCM 700: SAPKY70001
Importing required component support packages
You can download the relevant files from SAP Service Marketplace. The data files must be made available in the /in directory before you start the PREPARE phase UPLOAD_REQUEST. For information about downloading support packages, see note 83458.
Obtaining the RCTRK 700 upgrade package
Download the RCTRK 700 upgrade CD from SAP Service Marketplace, or mount the CD (material number 51037377).
As of SAP Basis release 700, the Add-on upgrade package is automatically unpacked from the CD. To do this, specify the directory where the Add-On upgrade CD is mounted in PREPARE phase UPLOAD_REQUEST.
If you downloaded the Add-on upgrade package directly from SAP Service Marketplace, unpack it in the /in directory.
Information: TheCSN0120061532_0037709.PATfile should be in the /in directory (at the latest after the UPLOAD_REQUEST phase).
5. Additional information about the upgrade
Additional information about the PREPARE phases
IS_SELECT phase
Make the following decision:
‘Do you want to add (further) Add-On-CD’s?’: Yes
‘Do you want to search for new packages in …/EPS/in?’: Search
Select the upgrade type for the installed Add-ons:
for RCTRK choose “Upgrade with SAINT Package”
BIND_PATCH phase
This displays which support packages are located in the /in directory and can be included in the upgrade.
Make sure that you include at least the support packages mentioned in section 4 (”Checks before the upgrade”) in the upgrade.
In the Roadmap Step “CONFIGURE”

Delivery Customizing:
The delivery Customizing is imported into client 000 and may need to be copied to other clients. For more information, see Note 337623.

The Add-on RCTRK 700 supports the language ENGLISH, FRENCH and RUSSIAN.
