Symptom

This note provides supplemental information to install or upgrade SAP GRC Access Control 5.2 applications (Compliance Calibrator, Access Enforcer, Role Expert and Firefighter).
Use this information when installing any GRC Access Control applications on your SAP_BASIS 700.

Reason and Prerequisites

You want to install an add-on using transaction SAINT.
In order to perform this installation, you should already have the following components installed on your system:
SAP_BASIS 700
SAP_HR 600
VIRSANH 520_700
If you are performing a delta-upgrade, rather than a new installation, you should additionally have one of the following component versions installed on your system:
VIRSANH 510_700 and VIRSAHR 510_700
VIRSA 400_700

2. Prerequisites
Uninstalling VIRSAHR 520_700:This package cannot be uninstalled!! Ensure you download the correct package from the SAP Service Market Place website. Further restrictions concerning upgrade and maintenance of your R/3 system that result when you install an add-on are described in note 70228.Import the most recent SPAM/SAINT update:Ensure that you have imported the most recent SPAM/SAINT update into your system. If there is a more recent version available on the SAP Service Marketplace, import the new SPAM/SAINT update.You should read the instructions in the following note before you install this add-on:Problems with Transaction SAINT, see Note 822383.

3. Prepare for Installation/Delta Upgrade
Make the VIRSAHR 520_700 add-on available:
This installation/delta upgrade package is not automatically sent to all customers. If you want to perform the installation, download theSAPK-523COINVIRSAHRpackage from the SAP Service Marketplace.Log on as user:
adm on UNIX
OFR on AS/400
adm on WindowsChange to the directory of your SAP System (usually /usr/sap/trans/EPS). The directory is also displayed under DIR_EPS_ROOT after you execute the RSPFPAR report.Change to the higher-level directory.Unpack the CAR archiveK-523COINVIRSAHR.CARwith the following statement:
SAPCAR -xvf / /K-523COINVIRSAHR.CAR on UNIX
SAPCAR ‘-xvf / /K-523COINVIRSAHR.CAR’ on AS/400
SAPCAR -xvf \ \K-523COINVIRSAHR.CAR on WindowsThe file namedQE19920239195_0000008.PATshould now be in the /in directory.
4. Installation/Delta Upgrade Instructions
Log on to your SAP system in client 000 as a user with SAP_ALL rights. Do NOT use the users SAP* or DDIC.Display the add-on installation package:
Call transaction SAINT and choose “Start” and “Load”.
After the list of uploaded packages is displayed, you can return to the initial screen of transaction SAINT (either press F3 or choose ‘Back’).Start the installation:
Start transaction SAINT and choose “Start”. Select the VIRSAHR 520_700 add-on and choose ‘Continue’. If all of the necessary conditions for importing the add-on have been fulfilled, the system will now display the relevant queue. The queue is composed of the installation package, and may also contain Support Packages and Add-on Support Packages.
To start the installation process, choose ‘Continue’. For more information, start transaction SAINT and choose ‘Info’ in the application toolbar.You are prompted to enter a password,the password is901D283278
5. After the Installation/Delta Upgrade
Import languages after the upgrade:If you intend to install additional languages, we recommend that you do this before you import further Support Packages. Refer to the section “Language Support”.BC Set Activation:Activate the BC Sets below for products (or features) you have purchased and intend to use. Activate each BC Set with transaction SCPR20, on the client where you will be using GRC Access Control.If you are licensed to use Role Expert, activate the following BC Sets
/VIRSA/RETABHR_52While activating the BC Set, if you get a message regarding “BC Sets cannot be activated as client is flagged as Production client,” consult your Basis Administrator to change the client settings.While activating the BC Sets, you may be prompted for a transport request, depending on your client settings. You can use this transport to transfer the data to other systems or clients instead of activating the BC Sets again. Remember that you still need to install this support pack on those other systems, using SPAM.Delivery Customizing:Import delivery Customizing into client 000 and copy it to other clients if necessary. For this purpose, see Note 337623.
6. Language Support
In addition to German and English, the following languages are supported by VIRSAHR 520_700: Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish and French.The languages are part of the add-on installation/upgrade file and are imported during the installation/upgrade.If you want to install additional languages after the installation/upgrade, please see notes 105442 and 928317.
